DNJ Head Spacer Shim
DNJ® Cylinder Head Shims are engineered to restore correct engine geometry and maintain optimal compression ratios, particularly after resurfacing the cylinder head or engine block. These precision-machined spacers are manufactured to exact tolerances, ensuring accurate fitment, reliable sealing, and consistent performance. With a thickness of 0.020"" and intended for use on the block side, each shim is designed for specific engine applications and features precisely aligned cutouts for bolt holes and fluid passages.
DNJ® Cylinder Head Shims are made from premium-grade stainless or spring steel to withstand the intense heat, pressure, and chemical exposure of modern engines. These materials are selected for their superior tensile strength, corrosion resistance, and dimensional stability, even under extreme thermal cycling. Optional elastomer or graphite-based coatings may be applied to enhance sealing properties and resist oil and coolant intrusion.
