DNJ® Engine Intake Valves are manufactured from heat-resistant alloys such as austenitic stainless steel and high-nickel steel grades, specifically engineered to withstand prolonged exposure to extreme exhaust gas temperatures. To further enhance durability and performance, each valve is treated with a black nitride coating. This surface treatment increases wear resistance, reduces friction, improves corrosion protection, and enhances heat dissipation critical factors for maintaining valve integrity under severe thermal and mechanical stress. These material and coating choices help prevent warping, reduce thermal fatigue, and ensure long-term structural stability in demanding engine environments.
